I had a pleasure to be enlightened in BI domain by Mirek. He is competent technical IT professional but also excellent coach. His lectures are good value in general, very well structured, straight to the guts, supported by valuable and rich experiences from various business domains, adapted to the technical competence level of a client and his requirements. It is good to have him around to avoid tricky mistakes in BI solution design and delivery where the consequences are not immediately visible but are becoming crucial in time with growing data flow. I attended a very insightful course “From Data to Results”, led by Mirek Cerny. I can recommend it especially to people who are just getting acquainted with the extensive topic of data processing and analysis. The training will give them a structured view of the matter – a basic direction that can then be further branched and deepened according to specific interests and/or expertise. Mirek uses a number of examples from practice, real-life situations to illustrate the theoretical information. Another beneficial part of the training was the discussions, questions and answers, opinions of other participants – this plurality is the charm of open trainings where people from different fields, different experiences come together.

Mirek’s 1-day “From data to results” was a nicely structured, rounded overview of data topics for business past the usual buzzwords. While I’ve worked in a data company before, the detail involved looking at practical steps to preparing project & data, and the evaluation of results over time. Given Mirek’s expertise, he’s able to address effective data use in the business market for a number of actual longer-term data projects in different verticals, and give feedback on approaches that *seem* promising, but in practice “won’t hunt”. Additionally, his interaction with the experiences & needs of attendees seemed helpful for all. Would highly recommend.

Mirek is an expert in his field, he doesn’t try to sell you any overpriced tools, but gets straight to the point. The workshop was perfect and very focused on applying the knowledge in practice. Mirek is a professional in the field of data analysis and participation in his course “From Data to Results” was an excellent choice. The course offers a simple approach, allowing participation even without prior knowledge. It provides a comprehensive overview of data, explains typical BI architecture, methods concerning data quality, predictive analytics and much more. In addition to the theory, the course included a number of practical exercises that allow you to directly apply the topics discussed. Another advantage was the great discussion with participants from different disciplines, which brought a wide range of interesting opinions and enriched the overall experience.
