I help turn data, BI and analytics into better business results.
I help companies solve data problems, improve reporting, set up BI projects properly and rely on key numbers with greater confidence.
You can work with me when you need a quick expert opinion, a structured consultation, mentoring, training, senior oversight of a data project or long-term advisory support.
When a company understands its numbers, data and reporting well, it can rely on them more confidently in management, prioritisation and strategic decisions.
I help companies solve or straighten out concrete issues in data, reporting, BI projects, data architecture and analytical layers so that data better supports company management.
AI, prediction and automation make this need even stronger. If metrics, reporting and data foundations are not clear, AI will not solve these uncertainties — it may only spread them faster into more outputs.
That is why it makes sense to get data, BI, metrics and analytical foundations right first. Only then can advanced analytics, prediction, prescriptive recommendations or meaningful AI use stand on something reliable.
When you need an experienced independent opinion on data, BI, reporting, metrics, suppliers or a project already in progress.
This can take the form of a one-off consultation, a consultation package for a specific problem, long-term advisory or an external Data Advisor role.
I help clarify what the real topic is, what the options are, where the risks are and how I would approach the situation as a senior expert.
When you want to strengthen people who work with data, BI, reporting or analytics.
I adapt training and mentoring to the company, its people and its topics. I keep a clear expert line, but focus more on what is truly important for the specific team.
I help analysts, BI specialists and managers better understand the business meaning of data, build more useful outputs and think about data in a broader context.
When you are preparing, changing or need to review a data warehouse, BI solution, reporting, data model or analytical layer.
I help with analysis, solution design, architecture, preparation of assignments and expert challenge of project direction or supplier proposals.
What matters is that the solution is not only technically delivered, but also makes sense for the business, data, reporting and future development of the company.
You need an independent senior view before an important decision about data, BI or reporting.
A project is already running, but there are doubts about its direction, quality or future usefulness.
A supplier proposes a solution and you need to assess whether it will work in practice.
Leadership wants better numbers, but it is unclear whether the issue is in reporting, data, definitions or interpretation.
A data platform or BI tool exists, but the analytical layer is not designed well enough.
A group of companies is growing, integrating acquisitions or changing systems, and numbers are becoming harder to compare.
Most cooperation can start simply: with a consultation, consultation package, workshop, mentoring or data advisory.
In some companies, it later becomes clear that the topic needs deeper and more regular senior involvement.

Executive Data Insight
Long-term support for leadership teams that need to rely more safely on key numbers, reporting and the company’s data reality.
I am a senior data and BI expert with more than 25 years of experience in large companies, group structures, data warehouses, reporting, controlling, BI and data governance.
I previously worked as Head of BI and I help companies connect the business meaning of data with practical analytics, reporting, data architecture and data project management.
My role is often between leadership, business, IT, controlling, BI teams and suppliers. I help translate the needs of one side into the language of the other and keep attention on whether data leads to better decisions, not just more dashboards.
My experience comes from data, BI, reporting and analytical work across environments of different sizes and industries — from smaller companies through technology and business organisations to larger corporations and company groups.
I have helped companies solve or straighten out data, BI and reporting in environments where creating a report is not enough. What matters is understanding the meaning of numbers, relationships between systems, responsibilities, data quality and how leadership uses the outputs.
In some projects, I have also helped improve business results through prediction, prescriptive analytics and recommendations of specific actions based on customer, sales or operational data.
I typically work in situations where multiple systems, group companies, teams or views of the same numbers meet.

Working with Mirek was very inspiring. I appreciate his approach that allows all team members to gain as much expertise as possible under Mirek’s guidance. His in-depth knowledge of advanced data analytics and how to use it in practice has helped us a lot, as well as his ability to guide users to understand the complexity of the project (a crucial step!).
Mirek is an exceptionally talented data scientist. He and I have worked on a number of projects and deals, and it has been an absolute pleasure. He has the ability to easily switch from technical to business speak and to really get under the skin of the issue. He is measured in his responses and thinks deeply before applying any solution to the challenge at hand. I am very lucky to have a business partner like Mirek as we complement each other very well. Apart from being one of the best data scientists I’ve worked with, he’s also a good natured person and trustworthy. I look forward to working with him into the future.
I also explain selected topics in YouTube videos. They are organised into thematic playlists and complemented by a longer lecture recording about the layers of intelligence in BI and data analytics.
For quick orientation in key terms, there is also a separate BI glossary. It is a more extensive reference page explaining important concepts from data, BI, reporting, analytics and data management.
The goal is not to show technical tricks, but to help managers, analysts and data teams better understand why some data and BI initiatives work — and others do not.
Send me a short description of what you are dealing with. Together, we will choose the right form of cooperation — from a one-off consultation through project support to a long-term Data Advisor role.
