Workshop with the most intelligent Czech children

Today I had a pleasure to meet attendees of a camp organised by Mensa Czech. There were about 70 children of age from 12 to 18. These guys were a group of the brightest, talented and skilled kids I have ever met.
My role at the event was to inspire the young people by the Futurelytics’s story, lead a workshop explaining the process of idea/product generation and pitching and to be a judge at a contest of 8 groups.
All attendants were listening very carefully and the young guys raised questions I would hardly expect from an experienced adult.
People were split to teams and immediately started working on genuine ideas. I was a sort of a coach for them while they did an intensive preparation for pitching.
After lunch the “Dragon’s Den” show began… 😉
Each team had four minutes to pitch their idea. Each of them bravely managed to fit in the time limit and answered questions from public.
Idea originality as well as presentation skills were rated.

I attended numerous pitching events in the past. But these guys were so young and so original! Some of them very realistic.

I wish these people much success and strongly believe that we will have some new promising companies soon. Good Luck guys!
